Surf Côte d'Ivoire, is a movement with a mission to develop and promote the culture of surfing in Côte d'Ivoire.
The initiative began with the production of a documentary, which is set to be released in 2024, but also flourished into a surf apparel brand and a non-profit organization.
One of the key components of this project was developing a cohesive visual identity that would resonate with the target audience and convey the spirit of the initiative.
The brand application involved creating a unique and versatile logo that captures the essence of surfing while incorporating elements that reflect the vibrant culture of Côte d'Ivoire.
The challenge of merging the worlds of documentary filmmaking, surf apparel, and non-profit work into a unified brand was a rewarding experience. It demanded a balance between creativity and functionality, ensuring that the brand tells a compelling story while remaining practical in various applications.
I take pride in this work because it goes beyond a visual identity; it contributes to a movement that aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Côte d'Ivoire through surfing. It's not just a logo; it's a symbol of community, passion, and positive change.
